At Kingsley Academy, strong partnerships between school and home help every learner succeed. We are committed to supporting each student’s progress, well-being, and confidence through clear communication, consistent support and high expectations.

We will:

  • Provide a welcoming, safe and supportive learning environment
  • Value each student as an individual
  • Support personal, social and academic development
  • Deliver a broad, relevant and well-taught curriculum
  • Work closely with parents to resolve concerns
  • Share regular progress updates and reports
  • Keep families informed about school activities and policies
  • Contact parents if attendance or behaviour concerns arise
  • Inform families about well-being or learning concerns
  • Encourage effort, achievement and personal growth
  • Support individual needs wherever possible
  • Maintain respectful communication with families and learners

Student Agreement and Expectations

Students play an important role in creating a positive learning environment. By joining Kingsley Academy, learners agree to behave responsibly, respectfully and safely at all times.

Students agree to 

  • Treat staff, peers and the community with respect
  • Follow their individual timetable
  • Keep personal items safely stored in lockers
  • Respect school property and surroundings
  • Avoid unsafe or disruptive behaviour
  • Speak and act respectfully toward others
  • Avoid bullying, discrimination or harassment
  • Follow safety rules inside and outside the building

Safe Behaviour During Transport

Students travelling in academy vehicles also agree to:

  • Sit where the staff direct them
  • Remain seated and face forward
  • Wear a seatbelt correctly at all times
  • Speak at a safe volume
  • Follow staff instructions

These expectations help ensure everyone travels safely and comfortably.
