At Kingsley Academy, adult education is primarily for people aged 19 and over with SEND needs who would benefit from SEND-informed support. We combine our adult education programmes with the practical academy, a comprehensive approach tailored to the needs of adult learners. Sessions are geared towards acquiring real skills, making steady progress, and achieving clear outcomes.
Some learners may wish to build confidence, work toward employment, develop skills in functional English or mathematics, and enhance digital skills. We also offer SEND training courses and workshops. All our training programmes are flexible, supportive, and personalised, with no set paths.
Adult learning programmes run with flexible start points and agreed hours. We begin with a conversation about goals, experience and support needs, then shape learning around what works best for the individual.
